Amistad Memorial
The Amistad Memorial commemorates the revolt on the slave-trade ship, the Amistad. A large bronze sculpture, this memorial can be found at City Hall on Church Street.

Harkness Tower
A Yale landmark, the Harkness Tower is found in the center of campus, standing 214 feet (66 m) high. This Gothic structure was designed by James Gamble Rogers and was built between 1917 and 1921. Its 54 carillon bells are rung every day during the school year at 12:30pm and 5pm.
